DataShredder Corporation began in 2005 with a single truck and one employee, rooted in a commitment to service and integrity.
Our story
Though the company has grown significantly since 2005, it remains a family-run business. Today DataShredder is managed by Rosie Burgos who, along with the rest of the team, upholds the same dedication to exceptional customer care that sparked the company's beginnings.
Our growing business model
DataShredder started as a document destruction company, and while we remain experts in document shredding in the Boston area and beyond, our offerings have diversified over nearly two decades to include hard drive shredding, computer and battery recycling, laboratory equipment recycling and hardware asset management.
That growth now extends to complete IT asset disposition and technology decommissioning: removing, inventorying, transporting, destroying, recovering value from and recycling entire IT estates, from a single server closet to a full data center.
Our philosophy
DataShredder was built on a strong ethical foundation with an entrepreneurial spirit. Our goal is to help clients find solutions to their security, destruction, documentation and recycling challenges so they can focus on their own day-to-day operations — and to eliminate the worry that comes with the destruction and recycling of paper, e-waste and other materials.
